About Us
Maven Construction LLC is a women and queer-owned and operated residential construction company that provides renovation, repair, and contracting services in the Triangle area of North Carolina. With over 30 years of combined experience in construction, our team has a proven record of providing high quality services that showcase our commitment to integrity and precision.
We are three women who have spent our years swinging hammers, hauling lumber, and learning as much as we can about our trade.
-
The first step of the process is to fill out the project inquiry or waitlist form. The more information you can provide (e.g. design plan, pictures, measurements, budget, etc.) the better. Once your form is submitted, it will put you in the cue and we will reach out about next steps.
We are typically booked 6 months out so dont hesitate to submit that form to get the ball rolling!
-
After we gather some more information about your project and if it fits within our scope, we will schedule an assessment for the project. Then we will build you an estimate within two weeks of the assessment. The estimate will include projected cost and timeline.
-
Once the estimate is accepted and deposit paid, we will begin the pre-construction process (e.g. permit, material ordering & scheduling).
-
The fun begins! Watch your space come to life with the project you have been dreaming of.

Customer Experience
“We recently had the pleasure of having Maven Construction completely gut and renovate our bathroom, and we couldn’t recommend them enough! We were very happy to have found a proudly queer and women-owned business to have in our home. There was an instant trust and ease about talking woman-to-women, which made us feel comfortable and considered.
They were very responsive in coming to our home to consult and ask questions. They listened attentively to our ideas, provided valuable insights, and collaborated seamlessly to bring our vision to life. They promptly addressed our questions and concerns, keeping us informed at every stage of the project. This level of transparency fostered a sense of trust, and we always felt like valued partners in the renovation journey.”
— Coly
“I will ALWAYS hire these ladies to do all of my home renovations/repairs. They are accommodating and respectful of your schedule, always on time (which means early), are efficient and produce high-quality work. You can’t go wrong with this choice!”
— Wendy
“I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of work done by these ladies! They will come out, look at what you want done, let you know if it's possible, and give a timely and fair estimate. They did work on both the interior and exterior of my home and I would highly recommend them!”
— Sue
Maven did a FULL bathroom gut and renovation for us (down to the studs and back up), and they were AWESOME the whole way through. They got all the demo done the first day, which included an iron tub. They put so much care into every part of it, and I was especially impressed with the planning and care they took with tiling the shower. Everything is even and looks perfect, and they tiled around a window in such a way where it looks so intentional and seamless. The best part of the renovation was probably that they fixed the hole in the floor of the bathroom and waterproofed the entire thing. In addition to the bathroom, we also had them add our dishwasher to our tiny home. We didn't have the space for it, so adding it involved some carpentry work to cut into the cabinets and create the hole for it. Maven created the perfect space for our dishwasher, and then took the time to resize the drawer that they had to cut into so instead of losing the full drawer as I expected, it just became smaller. I was thrilled when I saw their carpentry wor. I can't recommend them enough - it's so hard to find good contractors who care about the work they are doing on the places we live, so I'm really happy I've found them.
